Forest Trip Marguerite Brons Memorial Park is a 13 acre wooded park, completely fenced, with a 2 acre fenced clearing in the middle. The cleared area allows lots of dogs to meet and greet, while the many trails through the 11 acre forest offer the best sniffing this side of a biscuit factory. Dogs going on this trip will spend time playing at the park, running the trails, and hunting through the forest for those great scents.
Beach trip Double Bluff Beach Park is a 2 mile long strip of beach, bordered by Useless Bay on the south and the steep Double Bluffs to the north. Water dogs especially love Double Bluff, and get a good rinsing at the dog rinse station afterwards to get the salt water out of their coat. Dogs going on this trip will spend time playing with their doggy friends, sniffing through the driftwood, and splashing in the waves along the shore.
Both parks are within minutes of Lucky Dogs Farm and are public off-leash areas, so your dog is sure to encounter many other dogs running off leash. Thus, these trips are only available to dogs who are experienced attendees at off leash parks and are under voice control. |
